After a successful debut season by Coach Mike Anderson, expectations are rising in Columbia, Missouri. Can the Tigers get all the way back from the depths they've been in the past couple of seasons? There's some talent for Coach Anderson to work with, so the 2007-08 season should see a continuation of the improvement project. Led by senior guard and Big 12 newcomer of the year, Stefhon Hannah, the Tigers will not be a walkover match-up for anyone.

Joining Hannah is Vanderbilt transfer DeMarre Carroll, a 6-8 forward that's expected to make an immediate impact, shoring up a post game that lost the 6-9 Kalen Grimes due to off-the-court issues. Rounding out the Missouri starting 5 is Keon Lawrence, Matt Lawrence, and Leo Lyons. Lyons and Carroll could give the Tigers a formidable post presence, which, when combined with the Hannah's shooting ability, will make Coach Anderson's team a tough match-up for the Big 12 and the rest of Division 1.
