The biggest question on the mind of the Virginia Tech nation is can coach Seth Greenberg build off last year's unexpected success or will this season be more of a holding pattern until the recruiting class for 2008 gets to campus? Joining Thorns in the starting five is a respectable quartet of players, including Jeff Allen, A.D. Vassallo, Cheick Diakite, and Deron Washington.
If Tech's newcomers can mesh into Greenberg's system, the Hokies will have some depth and balance and should be a formidable opponent by the time conference play kicks off.
