Home of the Carolina Panthers, Bank of America Stadium is one of the top stadiums in the NFL. Located right outside of downtown Charlotte, the facade of Bank of America is very unique. It consists of massive archways, and domed towers. Bank of America Stadium features a striking black obsidian granite facade. A pair of black panthers, each eight-feet-tall, and weighing 2,000 pounds, perched on ten-foot pedestals, are located on both sides of each of the three 80-foot arched entrances. The 48-foot diameter light domes atop the entry towers are lit every night. The exterior also looks like many other notable stadiums, such as Soldier Field.

Bank of America Stadium consists of over 73,000 blue and silver seats in three tiers that circle the playing field. The stadium has many amenities, including the Bank of America club and 158 luxury suites. Two massive scoreboards are located atop the upper deck past each end zone. Bank of America Stadium also includes three practice facilities, training facilities, and administrative offices. The Panthers hope to have years of success at Bank of America Stadium.

Weather
Charlotte enjoys a moderate climate, with short, mild winters and cool summer nights. The average temperature in July is 79 degrees; in December, 42 degrees. Carolinians wear light-weight summer clothes into late October. The first frost usually doesn't arrive until Thanksgiving.

Parking
There are more than 30,000 parking spaces within a 10-15 minute walk of the stadium. Parking operators lease parking spaces on a game-by-game or seasonal basis near Bank of America Stadium.

Concessions

Concession stands offer a variety of stadium fare such as hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, barbecue and ice cream.

Directions

I-85 from the South
Look for signs to exit at either Billy Graham Parkway, Freedom Drive, Brookshire Freeway (I-277 East) or I-77 South.

I-85 from the North
Look for signs to exit at either Sugar Creek Road, Graham Street, Statesville Avenue or I-77 South.

I-77 from the South
Look for signs to exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.

I-77 from the North
Look for signs to exit at either Brookshire Freeway (I-277 East), Fifth Street, Trade Street, Morehead Street or John Belk Freeway (I-277).

Wilkinson Boulevard (US 74) from the West
Follow signs for John Belk Freeway (I-277) and exit at either Carson Boulevard, College Street, South Boulevard or Brevard Street.

Independence Boulevard (US 74) from the East
Follow signs for John Belk Freeway (I-277) and exit at either Sixth Street, Fourth Street, Stonewall Street or South Boulevard.

Brookshire Freeway (I-277) from the West
Look for signs to exit at either I-77 South, Graham Street, Church Street or Brevard Street.

NC 49/US 29 from the Northeast
Follow Tryon Street to Church Street.

Airport
Follow Josh Birmingham Parkway 1.5 miles to Billy Graham Parkway South. Proceed on Billy Graham to I-77 North. Look for signs to exit at either John Belk Freeway (I-277) or Trade Street.
