Opened in 1966 and known for its no-frills, traditional atmosphere, the renovated Oracle Arena offers more of the anemities of the newer NBA arenas, including luxury suites, a retail store, and a sports bar.

The 1996 $100 million renovation project involved the complete demolition and redesign of the building's interior increasing capacity by more than 4,000 to a maximum of 19,200 plus 72 luxury suites and 3 exclusive clubs.

Five minutes from downtown Oakland and Oakland International Airport, The Arena is connected to a local Bay Area Rapid Transit station, (B.A.R.T.). Interstate 880 runs north and south on the west side of The Net to deliver full access to all bay area transit routes. Hotels, restaurants, and entertainment are just minutes away in every direction. San Francisco and all its amenities can be visited by cab, car or B.A.R.T.

Concessions
The Arena offers a wide variety of food, from basic hot dogs, all sorts of barbecued meats, pastas, soft-serve ice cream, Chinese food, and Roundtable pizza. The food at the Arena isn't cheap but it's a notch above what you get at most venues.

Parking
Plenty of parking should be available for most events at the Arena.

Take the 66th Avenue exit - follow signs to Arena.

From San Mateo:
East on San Mateo Bridge to Interstate 880
North on I-880 to Oakland Take the 66th Avenue exit - follow signs to Arena

From Marin County:
Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to Interstate 580
Continue East on I-580 to I-980 toward Downtown Oakland
Continue on I-980 as it becomes I-880 South
Take the 66th Avenue exit - follow signs to Arena.

From San Francisco:
East on Bay Bridge to Interstate 580 East
Continue East on I-580 to I-980 toward Downtown Oakland
Continue on I-980 as it becomes I-880 South
Take the 66th Avenue exit - follow signs to Arena.

From Sacramento:
West on Interstate 80 toward Oakland
East on I-580
Exit at I-980 toward Downtown Oakland
Continue on I-980 as it becomes I-880 South

From Contra Costa County:
Highway 24 through the Caldecott Tunnell
