The Palace has been home to the Pistons since 1988, after playing in 6 different stadiums, they found the facility to be more than suitable. The Palace is also known for it's numerous concerts, and special events such as wrestling, boxing, sno-cross, ice shows, circuses, rodeos, seminars, clinics, graduations, and other family shows. Concerts are always fun at the Palace mainly due to the crystal clear sound system. The building was designed to have good acoustics which is rare in a sport/concert venue. Bands that were inaudible at other arenas sound fantastic at the Palace.

The Palace has a good reputation for being an excellent place to watch basketball. Not only are the seat locations and sight lines very good, but the plush, theatre-style seats are also quite comfortable. It is difficult to find a bad seat.

The outside of the complex is actually pleasant to look at which is rare for a sports facility. Inside, the place looks new and is always well maintaned and clean.

Concessions
The Palace of Auburn Hills has concession locations with sandwiches, snacks, beverages and other snacks. One of the Palace's best known traits besides the game, is it's food. The Palace Club as well as the Terrace Club both accomodate up to 300 patrons. All facilities feature extensive menus including beef, poultry, seafood and dessert specialties prepared by award-winning food services.

Parking
No on-street parking nearby, so you will need to park in the Palace's lot, which has space for 8,200 cars.

Directions

I-75 to exit 83 (Joslyn Road). Go north on Joslyn Road approximately 100 yards to Harmon Road. Go east (right) on Harmon Road to The Palace gates.

The Palace is easily accessible off I-75 at Lapeer Road (M-24) in Auburn Hills, Michigan (Exit 81). Also accessible from Exits 79 (University Drive) and 83 (Joslyn Road). Signs showing directions to The Palace are posted from all three exits.
