Cleveland Browns
After narrowly missing the NFL Playoffs last year, the Cleveland Browns are out to prove 2007's 10-6 record was no fluke. In order to do so, the Browns will have to improve on that record and make an appearance in the 2008 Playoffs. Is this the team to do so? If quarterback Derek Anderson can perform like last year and the defense continues its improvement, the sky is truly the limit for Romeo Crennel's team.
Joining Anderson in the Browns now-potent attack is receiver Braylon Edwards, tight end Kellen Winslow and a resurgent running back in Jamal Lewis. Once you add in the explosive return ability of Josh Krebbs, the Browns offensive attack looks as dangerous as any team in the NFL. The questions are, will the defense improve and is Derek Anderson here to stay as the team's signal caller? Anderson's year (29 touchdowns) was a surprise to many and now he has to prove it wasn't a flash-in-the-pan. When you consider the talent around him, picking up where he left off at shouldn't be a problem.
Browns fans, when your team was returned to you, this is the type of excitement you expected. With the help of the "Dawg Pound" cheering section, Cleveland Browns Stadium is one of the more energetic places to watch a football game. This, of course, only increases as the team improves. Because of this, you won't want to miss out on attending all the games you can. With Ticket Solutions, you'll never have to worry about finding Cleveland Browns tickets again.
Cleveland Browns Stadium
The new Cleveland Brown Stadium sits on one of the most hallowed grounds in the NFL. Football has been played at the same location that the new stadium sits on for more than a half a century.
In the late 1980's and early 1990's, owner of the Browns, Art Model proposed that a new stadium be built for his team. Their current home, Cleveland Municipal Stadium, was very old and deteriorating. They also had to share the stadium with the Cleveland Indians (MLB). After the 1993 season, the Indians moved into Jacobs Field in downtown Cleveland. The Browns still did not have a new stadium. After not being able to reach an agreement to build a stadium for the Browns, Modell decided to move the team to Baltimore after the 1995 season....more Browns Stadium info
Cleveland
Sprawling for 50 miles along the shores of Lake Erie, this industrial hub of the heartland has reinvented itself as a city for the new millennium.
Cleveland is a model of urban renewal. Once plagued by debt and dirt, the city cleaned up the downtown area and spruced up its parks and waterways to become one of the most livable cities in the U.S. A weekend visit gives you a taste of what makes the city tick. Cleveland's legendary art museum and symphony now have modern complements in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center. The city's long and proud sports tradition was bolstered by the opening of Jacobs Field, the first of baseball's new classic parks. That blend of tradition and innovation is now Cleveland's hallmark....more
