Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders are a work-in-progress but that doesn't stop the Raiders nation of fans from showing up, en masse, to enjoy whatever success the team has. While there are a lot of questions about Lane Kiffin's team, one position where the team has an abundance of talent is at running back. Last year's emergence of Justin Fargas, the drafting of Darren McFadden and the presence of Lamont Jordan and Michael Bush, the Raiders have plenty of players capable of running the ball. These are great attributes to have as they try to groom their young quarterback JaMarcus Russell.
Unfortunately for the Raiders, while being blessed with a stable of young, talented running backs, they are thin in the receiver category, although the signing of Javon Walker could help free up Ronald Curry downfield. Besides a great selection of ball-carriers, the Raiders also have a fairly stout defense, although, the retirement of Warren Sapp could be felt the first few weeks of the season. Once they recover, if the offense has progressed has expected, the Raiders could easily be the spoilers of the AFC West.
As Raiders fans, you are used to going to the extreme to support your team but if you haven't made it to see a game in person, you are only cheating yourself. With the help of Ticket Solutions, you'll never need to worry about finding Oakland Raiders tickets again, even if they are sold out for that one game you've been dying to see. As an Oakland fan, you owe it to yourself to be there to watch this team as it grows and improves.
The Raiders began playing football in 1960 in the AFL and later joined the NFL in 1970 as part of the AFL-NFL merger. In 1982, owner Al Davis moved the team from Oakland to Los Angeles and the club became the Los Angeles Raiders, however they moved back to Oakland in 1995. The Oakland Raiders have played in five Super Bowls and have won three of those five! The also have one AFL title under their belts!

Stadium seating capacity is now more than 50,000 and The Net has been home to some of the biggest names in baseball. Jim "Catfish" Hunter pitched the first perfect game here; Reggie Jackson and Rollie Fingers were A's teammates in the early 1970s; and Rickey Henderson broke Lou Brock's stolen base record in 1991...more McAfee Coliseum info
Oakland
Feel the cool blast of salt air as you stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge, stuff yourself on dim sum, browse the Haight for incense and crystals, and walk along the beach - all within approximately 49 square miles of the Bay Area. The cities by the Bay include, San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. From San Francisco, you can reach any of these points in an hour or less by car.
Although it's less than a dozen miles from San Francisco, Oakland is worlds apart from its sister city across the bay. Originally little more than a cluster of ranches and farms, Oakland exploded in size and stature practically overnight, when the last mile of transcontinental railroad track was laid down. Major shipping ports soon followed and, to this day, Oakland remains one of the busiest industrial ports on the West Coast...more
