Product Owner

Ticket Solutions, a leading live entertainment company, has a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner to join and help grow our technology team.

As a Product Owner, you have an established track-record of delivering high quality software in an agile environment. You’ve managed complex product roadmaps. You’ve built the trust of your development team and the stakeholders you represent. You love software and all the fantastic opportunities it presents to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):
  • Serve as the voice of internal and external clients
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog
  • Keep backlog ordered and drive refinement activities with development team to get work ready for sprints
  • Establish milestones for key product functionality, balancing team velocity and stakeholder expectations
  • Work with end users to understand their needs and align them to overall product roadmap
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent product vision and execution
  • Accountable for the product presentation, documentation, feature communication, and overall product functionality
  • Represent the development team when meeting with stakeholders, clients, or users
  • Represent the stakeholders, clients, and users when meeting with the development team
  • Research and analyze market opportunities for product development
  • Follow competitors and the industry
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/technical training
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or other relevant role
  • Experience working closely with (ideally within) an agile software development team
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Excellent understanding of servant leadership and agile development
  • Demonstrated experience taking strategic and tactical initiatives from concept through to implementation
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field
  • Strong desire to learn and help others learn
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in industry standard work management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, et al)
  • Experience in eCommerce/retail products
  • Experience in commonly used web and back-end technologies, specifically in the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Agile Product Owner training and/or certification
  • Familiarity with the event ticketing industry

Software Engineer - Team Lead

Ticket Solutions, a leading live entertainment company, has a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer Team Lead to join and help grow our technology team.

As a Software Engineer Team Lead, you have an established track record of delivering quality software products in an agile setting. You’ve helped build large-scale, high traffic applications. You’ve mentored and managed engineers of all skill levels. You love working on every area of a technology stack; helping to engineer and deliver elegant solutions to very challenging technical and business problems gets you out of bed in the morning.

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to):
  • Manage and mentor peer software engineers through technical and other challenges
  • Step in to fill various roles within the team as needed (vacations, outages, etc)
  • Design, implement, and deploy software applications and systems in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Perform team member performance reviews
  • Help remove impediments from agile team’s development process and progress
  • Help design and implement training materials that promote centers of practice within the team
  • Write unit and integration tests and perform other quality-oriented tasks as needed to ensure high quality software applications and systems
  • Review the work of engineers of every skill level
  • Triage and troubleshoot technical issues that arise, helping to see them through to resolution
  • Interface with internal and external clients to ensure all technical solutions are considered and vetted
  • Help improve departmental and operating efficiencies by helping to develop and follow departmental standards and practices
  • Work closely with product owner & development team to flesh out requirements and solution design
Required Qualifications:
  • Possess bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/technical training
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer or related Software Development technical role
  • Experience in a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or related leadership role
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Excellent understanding of servant leadership and agile development
  • Experience in every level of software development (server-side, front-end, database/document storage, reporting, etc)
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the software development field
  • Strong desire to learn and help others learn
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Microsoft .NET technology stack (C#, MVC .NET, ASP.NET, et al)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (react, vue.js, angular)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud products and offerings
  • Experience in deployment automation and IaC (infrastructure as code)
  • Familiarity with the event ticketing industry

  • Design, implement, and deploy software applications and systems in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Write unit and integration tests and perform other quality-oriented tasks as needed to ensure high quality software applications and systems
  • Review the work of engineers of every skill level
  • Triage and troubleshoot technical issues that arise, helping to see them through to resolution
  • Contribute to the improvement in departmental and operating efficiencies by following departmental standards and best practices.
  • Interface with internal and external clients to ensure all technical solutions are considered and vetted
